The ESTERI 9240 features a high-resolution 4.3-inch color display that is intuitive and easy to read. The display is in Finnish but can also be easily switched to one of 22 other languages. The display will automatically switch back to Finnish after the program is complete. The machine's interface is user-friendly, with selectable function buttons that are illuminated, making it easy to navigate through the 21 available basic programs.
Additional functions such as prewash, express, extra rinse, and spin speed can be easily accessed to customize the programs according to your specific needs. The machine also offers six textile-specific program groups, such as sportswear, each with its own button for easy access and selection. The Proficlean button allows users to choose from program groups that are tailored to different usage scenarios, including Cleaning, Institution, Industry, Restaurant, Wellness center, Campsite, Hospital and Fire station.

The Favorites button enables users to quickly access and activate their most frequently used programs with just a few clicks. The display provides real-time information on the program name, remaining time, and program temperature during operation. It also offers the option to schedule a program start time up to 7 days in advance, providing flexibility and convenience in planning laundry tasks, particularly when wanting to have the laundry done before the start of the workweek.
